2025 Co-Op Program Overview

Novonesis’ 2025 Co-Op Program provides a wide range of opportunities for current college students. We pride ourselves in offering real-world projects and providing Co-Ops with multiple networking opportunities to help you learn and grow both personally and professionally. The 2025 Co-Op will last for 8 months, are full time, and will start in Jan 2025.

Process Engineering Co-Op Description

Our Food Recovery Production Department is looking for a process engineering Co-Op to join our team in 2025.  This position will work on the downstream process for advanced protein solutions, alongside experienced process engineers and technicians.  Projects generally include management of change for process, automation, and equipment, building the operator certification program through technical content development, and using the data historian to develop easy to use tools for process accounting, troubleshooting, and streamlining the production process. Continuous improvement is imbedded in the Novonesis culture so the Co-Op will get real world experience with LEAN manufacturing applied to an existing highly automated production line.

In this position you need to:

• Be currently enrolled in a BS degree program focusing in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related field.

• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (PLEASE INCLUDE GPA ON RESUME)

• Have a sophomore standing or higher 

• Relevant coursework and extracurricular experience (internships, lab experience, student organization experience) strongly preferred.

• Able to arrange your own housing and transportation
