We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member. They will be able to multi-task in a high functioning clinic efficiently and effectively. They will be able to properly document in charts and communicate clearly with the doctors on staff.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of veterinary experience
• Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Experience with proper animal restraint and handling
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive team player willing to continue to learn
