Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, this role partners closely with engineering, operations, and business units to drive cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and technology alignment across a global supply base. The role balances strategy with execution: driving sourcing events, negotiating master agreements, rationalizing suppliers, and implementing contracts to deliver measurable savings, risk reduction, and compliance in a highly decentralized environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute global PCBA / EMS category strategies aligned to business and product roadmaps
Drive supplier consolidation, preferred supplier programs, and long-term agreements
Stand up EMS / PCBA category council and cross‑functional working teams to drive alignment and adoption without direct authority.
Analyze spend, supplier landscape, and market dynamics to identify cost savings, working capital improvement, and risk mitigation opportunities
Lead complex sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) and negotiate global commercial agreements
Lead executive-level supplier negotiations and quarterly business reviews
Build and execute savings pipelines and cost-reduction initiatives (e.g. should cost, benchmarking, value engineering)
Drive supply chain risk mitigation (capacity constraints, geopolitical risk, material shortages)
Serve as escalation point for critical supplier performance issues
Lead supplier development initiatives to improve cost structure, scalability, and technical capability
Lead initiatives to improve supplier pay terms
Champion enterprise level digital sourcing tools and data visibility usage across the enterprise (e.g., Source-to-Pay platforms)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
8–12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain
Strong experience in PCBA, EMS, or electronic components
Proven track record negotiating complex supply agreements and driving cost savings
Experience in NPI, supplier qualification, and manufacturing environments
Strong analytical skills (TCO, should-cost modeling, market analysis)
Experience with Source-to-Pay platforms (e.g., Ivalua, Coupa, SAP)
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in a matrix organization
Advanced PC skills, including MS Teams administration, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong technical aptitude: ability to learn and adapt to new technology
Demonstrated success executing complex sourcing projects across multiple sites/business units in a decentralized enterprise; proven ability to influence without authority.
Strong commercial acumen (TCO, price/should‑cost, indexation, SLAs/KPIs) and contract negotiation experience for master agreements
Willingness to travel globally (20–30%)
