Job Description: Financial Analyst

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

The Senior Financial analyst will work with a broad range of Bloom’s stakeholders, within and beyond the Finance group, including Corporate FP&A, senior management and strategic business partners like Product, installation, service and operations group. The successful candidate will participate in both regularly cadenced forecasting and close activities, and deep finance analysis for different business groups.

Location:             This position will be based in Bangalore, India

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the financial reporting and planning process within Bloom. Helping with close, budgeting, forecast process and help with budget/forecast vs actual analysis.
• Business partnership and forecasting/actual analysis for Capex, Opex for defined functions.
• Provide effective and timely financial information, thoughtful business insights/analytics and business performance summary and weekly dashboard and reporting
• Help with Hyperion implementation and upload of the data
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis for senior management

Skills and Experience:

• CA(Inter) / CMA / Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Strong analytical and critical thinker
• Ability to think creatively and communicate well
• Highly-driven, self-motivated and eager to learn
• Ability to work under high paced environment while delivering high quality of work
• Detailed Oriented with highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
