Overview: the SAP FICO Functional Lead is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle implementation of SAP FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and associated modules, from initial sales pursuit through to post-implementation support. This role specializes in leveraging SAP package solutions and their functional capabilities to meet business requirements, drive cost efficiencies, and enhance operational visibility.

Essential Job Functions:

  • As a Senior SAP Finance and Controlling Functional Consultant, you will lead teams responsible for full life-cycle implementation of SAP systems. You will drive agile adoption within implementation programs with high visibility and an opportunity to create and drive processes and methodologies. You will look beyond the boundaries of the application product to see business benefit in bolt-on solutions, custom solutions, and systems integration potential.
  • Collaborate with consultants, advisors, and experts to develop and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their technology challenges, and contributing to solutions.
  • Lead and mentor consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Liaise with technical programs to align dependency efforts (Salesforce, Infrastructure) Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision of the SAP Practice, leveraging industry insights to position the company as a technology consulting leader.
  • Assist in overseeing the financial performance of the Practice, adhering to budgets, and ensuring profitability.
  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and publications, establishing thought leadership in the technology consulting space.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in SAP FICO, with a minimum of 3+ years consulting SAP S/4HANA FICO experience
  • Strong experience in consulting with a record of successful projects
  • Solid understanding of consulting methodologies, industry trends, and technology
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
  • Deep understanding of agile best practices; SAP Activate, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum  Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Six Sigma are a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related fields is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Project and Program Management Governance and strong business process skills Strong Business and Financial acumen Manage Projects/enhancements and AMS related to SAP S/4 HANA
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus (e.g., MBA)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CTO) or advanced training a plus

Work Environment:

  • It is expected, at this time, that you may be required as part of the job function to travel up to 50%.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United stated without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $125,600 - $233,200.
