Veterinary Technician Assistant (Full-Time)
📍 Washington Avenue Animal Hospital

We’re looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant (VTA) to join our team! This role supports our doctors and technicians while providing compassionate care to pets.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely restrain animals for exams & treatments

• Assist during surgeries and procedures

• Care for hospitalized pets (feeding, walking, monitoring)

• Maintain clean and stocked exam/surgical areas

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with animals (vet or animal care setting)

• Ability to restrain animals of all sizes/temperaments

• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills

• Must be able to work 50% of weekends

Compensation & Schedule:

• Full-time | $15–$17/hr (based on experience)

• Includes evening and weekend shifts on rotation
