Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior IT Analyst – Industrial Labels, Auto ID, Digital Printing.

As a Senior Information Technology Analyst within the Information Systems Organization, you are expected to be a professional expertise is Industrial Labels, Prints, Auto-ID, and Digital Print technologies and be able to identify systems used in industrial and commercial applications to help in the successful delivery of implementation or to support Dow’s projects.

As part of these high-performing projects, you will be challenged with designing, developing, and supporting digital solutions to achieve customer satisfaction at the speed of business. You will work to apply your knowledge to assist senior team members on a diverse range of innovative, high-value projects with the opportunity to grow your career within ESS and Dow I/S. 

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and supports solutions and processes to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Execute the technical deliverables (e.g., logical system design, detailed security design) on industrial labeling and Auto-ID solutions for the projects installing or upgrading applications.
  • Work with Senior Solution Manager and Solution Manager and cross functional teams in the project planning process.
  • Provide guidance and coaching for junior members on the team.
  • Provide expert level support to the teams that provide run-the-business support for Integrated Supply Chain team.
  • Participate in timely implementations of strategic solutions.
  • Drive skill and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Responsibility for delivering solutions in an independent manner.
  • Ability to lead overall project phases.
  • There is no formal on-call coverage, but this role provides subject matter expertise that may be required 2x7 by the run-the-business teams.
  • Limited off hours work to support upgrades and implementations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required in Computer science or Information Technology or other relevant degree.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Integrated Supply Chain processes and technologies
  • Experience in SAP EHS Product Safety such as Dangerous Goods, Global Label Management (GLM), or Safety Data Sheets.
  • Proficiency in Windows Word processor Integration (WWI)- SAP’s tool for EHS document creation.
  • General knowledge of product labeling and barcoding.
  • Effective communication in both oral and written English.

Preferred Skills

  • Awareness of printing technologies such as thermal transfer printers and laser printers.
  • Awareness of logistics labelling requirements such as VDA4994 (GTL), Galia, AIAG.
  • Auto-ID (Automatic Identification) Systems.
  • Understanding of Auto-ID technologies like barcode, QR codes, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification).
  • Awareness of best practices for data security in Auto-ID and RFID systems.

  • Ability to build and foster relationships to drive integration and cross-team decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize and manage workload.
  • Ability to lead and resolve complex problem situations and technical issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams without compromising the existing service levels and customer satisfaction rate.
  • Ability to learn new processes and tools quickly.
  • This role is based in Airoli, India & requires candidate to travel to office regularly, as required.
  • Relocation assistance is not available with this position.​
