Job Summary

The Service Coordinator serves as a primary point of responsibility, accountability and activities related to customer service and governance of quality in the Specialty Clinics.

The Service Coordinator will report directly to Director, Specialty Clinics, but will serve as a liaison across many specialty clinics, interacting with Physicians, leadership and staff. They will perform a variety of tasks which require daily rounding in the clinics, and addressing the needs of the team members, which could include capital requests, ordering medical equipment, entering service requests for malfunctioning or broken equipment, assisting with performance improvement initiatives, budgeting, timecard and HRS reporting, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a customer service oriented mindset, the ability to multitask, and exceptional communication skills.

Pay Range

Minimum $25.46 Midpoint $33.73 Maximum $42.01

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a clinic or acute care setting.

Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in data collection. Two (2) years of experience in customer service.

Education

Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.

Training

• Required: None required.

Required: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others. Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure. Critical thinking and crisis intervention skills. Able to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively in an environment subject to numerous interruptions e.g., multiple demands, inquiries, special projects requiring critical deadlines. Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position e.g., Microsoft Word and comparable software, Excel, PowerPoint. Able to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology. Promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission and understand and exceed customer expectations. Able to effectively solve complex patient care and organizational problems; role model positive and professional behavior.

Licensure

Required: None required.

Work Environments - Functional Demand:

Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
