Job Description:

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for product design across websites and apps that deliver on business strategies and delight customers. As part of a cross-functional product team this person will design experiences that are easy to use, accessible and exhibit strong visual design. They will use qualitative and quantitative data to help understand problems and define solutions.

  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.


 

How You’ll Do It

  • Develops design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX / UI design deliverables in Figma and other tools.

  • Understands the target users’ needs, motivations, and behaviors as it relates to a specific project or area. Seeks to improve skills with a continuous learning and improvement mindset.

  • Monitors the competitive landscape to understand customer expectations and to spot opportunities for innovation.

  • Partners with Experience Design team to identify key deliverables and experiences and prioritizes with product teams. Utilizes ser research and / or A/B testing to present and validate design solutions. 

  • Designs production ready materials and release files. Partners with key stakeholders including business owners, product owners, technology, legal, and research to design best in class product design experiences across the Discover digital channels.

  • Partners with frontend and backend engineers to translate design into code.


 

Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelors in Graphic Design, Information Technology or related.

  • 4+ years of experience in Product design, UX/UI across desktop and mobile web and native applications.

  • In Lieu of Education, 6+ years of experience in Product design, UX/UI across desktop and mobile web and native applications.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $77,500.00 to $131,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
