Job Description:
The PMO Director shall be responsible for leading the Project Management Office, ensuring that projects align with the organization's strategic goals and deliver value. This role involves overseeing project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance project performance and ensure successful project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and implement PMO strategies to support organizational objectives.
Provide leadership to project managers and teams, fostering a culture of excellence in project delivery.
Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
Monitor project performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
Ensure compliance with best practices and enhance project management capabilities across the organization.
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to identify project needs and priorities.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
Manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and tools.
Ensure optimal allocation of resources across projects.
Mentor and coach staff to enhance project management skills and competencies.
Develop training programs for project managers and team members.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
20+ years of experience in project management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of managing large, complex projects and programs.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
Additional certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master) are a plus.
