We are searching for the best talent for Sr. Payroll Specialist.


[Position Summary]
Payroll team provides payroll services globally, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness for employees and the relevant government authorities. We also provide data feeds to the Finance teams to ensure accurate accounting and reconciliations. Payroll has a strong partnership with HR, Finance and IT and strives to deliver an efficient and cost-effective service to employees.

 

    

[Descriptions]

  • Payroll management the full scope of payroll processing with outsourcing vendor

  • Consolidate required data from stakeholders and update payroll system on time

  • Ensure compliance across complex statutory and regulatory landscape

  • Manage Tax & Social insurance data

  • Accruals and Monthly closing: Calculate and make accrual file for Payroll related costs

  • Salary and tax support for global mobility employees

  • Partner with all relevant Finance and Accounting teams to support timely reconciliations and responses to general payroll queries

  • Provide Payroll related Budget data yearly basis

  • Manage Retirement Pension(DB/DC) data and payment

  • Work with Global team to develop and implement processes for new program, project as needed

  • Manage key controls and quarterly reviews

  • In charge of Year-End Tax Settlement Process

  • Audit, Statutory and Compliance Reporting (Payroll Scope)

  • Others: Payroll-related query answering, Document supporting, etc.

 

[Requirement]

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven, hands‑on payroll experience in a multinational or complex organizational environment, including end‑to‑end payroll processing, compliance handling, and vendor management.

  • Strong understanding of Korean payroll regulations, including income tax, social insurance, retirement pension, severance, and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely execution in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly advanced proficiency in Excel

  • Solid interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors.

  • Strong command of Business English, both written and spoken, sufficient for global reporting, cross‑regional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.

  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance, along with sound problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.

  • Experience working with global payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP) or similar HRIS/ERP platforms preferred.

  • Customer‑service mindset with demonstrated ability to handle employee inquiries professionally and efficiently.
