Section A - Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Perform day to day shipping, receiving, and packaging of pharmaceutical products as per the Standard Operating Procedures 

  • Printing labels/waybills, prepare products and invoice for shipping 

  • Check orders and waybills and ensure products being packed are accurate as per pack out instructions 

  • Able to perform tasks in multi-temperature environments 

  • Maintain a clean and safe shipping and receiving area in accordance with SOP and coordinate pick up/deliveries with different couriers where applicable 

  • Complete required paperwork for all courier/carrier shipments and make sure freights are ready for pick up at specified pickup window allocated 

  • Actively monitors on hand shipping materials and supplies as well as goods received in warehouse 

  • Inventory management including, but not limited to, receiving, and organizing delivered goods, ensuring quantity received matches the invoice and notifying the Manager/Supervisor of any discrepancies (Site Specific) 

  • Tracking shipments and communicating with couriers and clients on delivery issues (Site Specific) 

  • Assisting with shipment/delivery receival and escalating receival concerns or issues as required. 

  • Perform other duties, including administrative and/or dispensing tasks, as assigned. 

 

Section B - Key Requirements: 

 

Knowledge: 

  •  High school diploma or previous work experience in a warehouse setting 

 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • This position requires considerable amount of physical work including, but not limited to, climbing, lifting, walking, stooping, standing for extended periods of time, and handling materials. 

  • Ability to lift/move up to 22 pounds independently as well as potentially greater weights in a team-lift environment 

  • Effective communication, teamwork, multitasking with strong attention to detail 

  • Excellent comprehensive skills and ability to learn new tasks 

 

Experiences: 

  • Previous experiences in a warehouse/ distribution setting handling of materials and lifting of weights is an asset 

  • Previous knowledge in pharmaceuticals is an asset 

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced or assembly line type of environment is an asset

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.69 - $27.74
