JLL is hiring a Data Collection Specialist for clients in commercial, hospitality, industrial and retail industries. In this role, you will travel to clients sites daily to identity and tag assets and collect pertinent data. We will rely on your keen eye for detail and understanding of building systems and equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, and point of sale for accurate data.

All work is done at a client sites and candidates must able to drive (and rent car as needed). Travel can be overnight and for extended periods. You must also be comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.

We're seeking a motivated self-starter who excels at prioritizing tasks and maximizing productivity. We offer a competitive base salary complemented by performance-based bonus that will reward your hard work and dedication.

What you will do:

  • Conduct walk-through surveys to assess property development conditions
  • Safely access roofs when required
  • Capture representative photographs of systems and conditions
  • Log information into client databases
  • Adhere to client site visit protocols
  • Problem-solve and apply critical thinking to projects of basic to moderate complexity

What you will bring:

  • High school diploma required;
  • Related post-secondary education such as engineering, construction management, sciences, or from a trade is an asset
  • A basic understanding of building systems and equipment is an asset
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with iPad/iPhone and iOS systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety Course certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Analytical and quantitative skills with experience in developing strategic solutions
  • Adaptability to various programs, apps, and web platforms for data gathering and project management
  • Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to safely access roofs and navigate various property conditions
  • Capable of traveling up to 100% of the time for extended periods
