The Partnerships & Innovation (P&I) Business Execution Lead will be tasked with the overall governance and execution of all work efforts across the P&I function in Services. This person will need to work horizontally and cross-functionally with business partners across both Services and the broader firm to achieve targeted goals and objectives for the team. This position offers an opportunity to meet a wide variety of people and solve some of the most critical issues facing the business and the firm today. This person will be vital in working on forward-looking projects that will define the scope of opportunity for the future of the business and how we deliver for our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams

  • Manage projects and processes for all core P&I teams, including initiatives covering Digital Assets, Strategic Investments, Strategic Partnerships, and Emerging Commerce Solutions

  • Actively assist in administration of Services equity investment portfolio, including governance for approvals & attestations, segmenting, variance and break analyses, and dispositions

  • Act as end-to-end owner of budget and P&L for Partnerships & Innovation team. This involves setting financial targets and holding teams accountable to abiding by them, owing approval process for discretionary spend including T&E, meetings, events, etc., and reviewing monthly P&L with head of P&I to identify variances, allocations, and action items

  • Track and own OKRs set out by the team, hold themselves and team accountable for hitting them

  • Own tracking for P&I technology book of work, including cross-functional build for Digital Assets (Citi Token Services) and Artificial Intelligence. Liaises with central COO tech teams to ensure completeness and scope for technology projects. 

  • Manage financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the department Profit & Loss (P&L), including appropriate accruals, client allocations, the impact of capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity

  • Responsible for all cross product technology, regulatory and administrative duties in conjunction with the team

  • Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing

  • Provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy

  • Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed

  • Work with Technology leadership to support the Business People strategy as well as the Communication strategy for the department

  • Work in direct partnership with the P&I Risk and Control lead to manage governance, risk & control, and regulatory engagement activities

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services

  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts

  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures

  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments

  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
