  • Experienced account management ideally in a technical field.
  • Experienced in developing and executing strategies within target accounts
  • Knowledge of dynamic sealing solutions or related products highly desirable.
  • Experienced in all customer facing situations
  • Creating and adhere to working practices and process flows. Identify process flow problems and action making changes
  • Open and honest in communication
  • Excellent written, verbal and technical English
  • Communicates concisely, logically and in a timely fashion across all functions of the business and at senior levels
  • Self manages projects and initiates actions to achieve objectives
  • Creates a sense of urgency within the organisation; encourages others to be accountable and achieve results
  • Not fearful of acting with limited supervision or direction; willing to take the initiative to accomplish desired results
  • Enthusiastic and committed; demonstrates capacity and drive for sustained effort and hard work over long-time periods
  • Identifies opportunities and acts on the opportunity
  • Gathering of accurate data that leads to the organic growth of sales, volume and PBIT
  • Uphold the R&D ethos of challenging norms and convention whilst paying attention to deadline dates and the need to deliver results
  • Adapts well to changing priorities, deadlines and directions
  • Is willing to take action, even under pressure, criticism or tight deadlines
  • Recognises and accurately evaluates the signs of a problem
  • Always looking for possible improvements
  • Notifies relevant head of departments of problems in a timely manner and offers potential solutions
  • Demonstrates working independently and laying out own plans
  • Needs to be able to drive others within different to successfully meet the needs of an account
  • Strong decision making skills required with which to ensure the provision of leading solutions
  • Lay down your own planning and keep records up to date to demonstrate progression when required
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Work well as a team and form part of a fluid business model that is comfortable to voice ideas and not afraid to try/trial ideas in order to drive progress
  • Pull together as a team to meet deadlines at times of high pressure
  • As a Key Account Manager, you will need to use your own knowledge, capability and experience to demonstrate your own credibility and to gain the trust and respect of key accounts
  • A high level of professionalism is expected at all times
