The Partner Acquisition team drives the expansion of the Target.com catalog by growing the matrix of sellers on Target Plus. The team works closely with Category Management, On-boarding and Operations, Site Experience, and Item to ensure all partners added meet or exceed expectations of what it means to be a Partner selling goods on Target Plus. The team also works hand in hand with enterprise teams such as Legal, Vendor Risk Management, Business Partnerships and Negotiations, Insurance, and Responsible Sourcing to ensure that our partners meet Target’s standards and are competitive within the evolving landscape of online marketplaces. The Partner Acquisition Operations Specialist is responsible for Lead vetting and assortment analysis from different channels to help us source the right partners which aligns with our strategy.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Partner Acquisition Operations Specialist your mission will be to review and vet the new partners submitted via different channels to help us grow our assortment, partner base and business on Target.com.
Lead Vetting – Support in growing the partner base with great eye to detail to formulate and complete effective, accurate and on time lead generation activities - Partner Vetting, Opportunity Analysis and Assortment analysis.
Support Insights and Reporting - Support weekly/monthly data reporting requirements, adhoc analysis, competitor research work and Dashboard automations
Process Excellence - Identify gaps in operations management and proactively recommend innovative ideas and opportunities to improve current processes.
Project management/Captainship – Lead one project end to end to drive efficiency or grow business.

About you:
Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent educational qualification
2+ years in digital merchandising or ecommerce operations experience
Sales operations experience and competitor research is of high importance, including problem solving, data analytics and project management skills
Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, including influencing, negotiations skills
Ability to build and maximize relationships with partners, both internal and external
