As a team that is striving to enhance the workplace experience, curate a culture where BILLders feel recognized for their work and foster community, productivity, and belonging, we are excited to add a new role to our workplace experience team.  We are looking for a motivated candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating unique and memorable experiences for our BILLders that spark moments of joy and fun. The ideal candidate will have experience and passion for event planning and execution, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should be adept at coordinating logistics, working within budget and timeline, and working with vendors to ensure seamless event delivery. Additionally, experience in handling promotional campaigns and employee recognition programs is preferred, as this role will involve curating and distributing company swag and overseeing initiatives that celebrate and reward our team members. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset is required, as this role will have close interaction with various departments and stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.  We are passionate about creating connections and belonging for our people in office and remotely.  If this sounds like your dream job, please apply.  

This hybrid role is based in our Draper’s office and requires 3-5 days a week in the office, depending on the team's workload. This role may require some after hours and travel. No relocation.

Responsibilities: 

  • Planning of employee events big & small including our annual parties, employee appreciation & bring your kid to work day
  • Coordination of AwardCo, our recognition platform & suggest ways to improve engagement
  • Coordination and creation of employee spotlights where we highlight BILLders that are doing great work
  • Coordinate and monitor our employee store & subject matter expert for all things swag - customer service for our people, answering questions and escalating when needed, monitoring orders 
  • Coordinate employee gifting including new hire, anniversary, baby gifts & special projects

Additional job requirements:

  • In office support for broader workplace experience team as needed and specially during team members PTOs 
  • Some work during evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Coordinate additional projects like concert and sports ticket giveaways, photo contests & special promotions
  • Coordinate communications so our BILLders know about events & special promotions
  • Coordinate FedEx account, help manage access & monitor billing/usage for routine swag orders and workplace team shipping
  • Prompt and timely response to all communications 
  • Ability to assist during event incidents and to escalate communications to Security and leadership
  • English fluency in writing and speaking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Model behaviors that are aligned with BILL values
  • Ability to inspect and walk event spaces and venues
  • Work will require the ability to operate standard office equipment and to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items up to 25lbs.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace products desirable

The estimated hourly range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
