Walmart is hiring a Senior Analyst on the Supply Chain team!

This role is designed for an individual contributor who is motivated by complex, purposeful challenges and has a keen interest in supply chain and data analytics. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in our department, working across various sectors of the supply chain and transportation teams!

This position will be based onsite in Bentonville, AR.

You’ll make an impact by:  

  • Developing enterprise scalable data models, perform data investigations and
    validation, and democratizing data products for external systems and business.
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis to investigate data quality and product performance,
    driving business critical insights.
  • Partnering with data team members to continually improve and integrate
    solutions.
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure data engagement to maximize business
    value and actionable insights.
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of the New Propositions team by creating and enhancing appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes.
  • Understanding stakeholder requirements in order to design appropriate data representation.
  • Presenting to and influencing the team and business audience using the appropriate data visualization frameworks and conveying clear messages through business and stakeholder understanding.
  • Supporting organizational design initiatives by gathering and analyzing internal and external data and providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Helping to evaluate initiatives for return on investment and potential outcomes.
  • Building and leveraging internal and external partnerships including working with team members to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Driving innovation within our team while ensuring data accuracy and scale.

What you’ll need

  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical insights, data, or consulting role.
  • Fluent in SQL, and strong skills in Python or other statistical tools (R, SPSS,
    Stata).
  • Extensive experience with business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Power
    BI).
  • Strong familiarity with data modeling practices and data engineering
    techniques to ensure a stable reporting pipeline.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional requirements gathering and scope
    refinement.
  • Ability to navigate multiple data domains and effectively communicate
    concepts and ideas to team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, execute across
    multiple priorities, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work experience in transportation and/or conversational commerce a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
