The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Market Manager and be an expert. This role allows you to gain in-depth knowledge of the specific market and provide our clients with the best-in-class product. You'll play a crucial role in making a significant impact on our business growth and customer satisfaction and contribute to building a team/function. How you’ll make an impact

  • You will implement the agreed sales strategy and budget, contribute to the identification of appropriate channels and targets, provide strategy input for the sales team and help to harmonize the market sales and marketing plans.

  • You will contribute to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) in the specified market, create detailed business plans, implement with regular follow-up.

  • You will contribute to sales negotiations and negotiate frame agreements, create offers and proposals in line with broader sales offers.

  • You will identify the Business Growth Initiative and collaborate with Marketing and Sales and execute those activities that require channel/segment partner participation, implement the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/segment, and make business happen.

  • You will support strategic partnerships, developing relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers.

  • You will ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience. Experience in automation sales and people manager role.

  • Customer focused attitude, able to communicate effectively & to be flexible and work in a team environment.

  • Thinking and acting systemically. 

  • Fluency in Chinese and English is required.
