Role Summary

The Customer Logistics Business Support will be responsible for assisting in processing orders and managing shipments in accordance with customer and Church & Dwight performance standards. This includes handling export-related activities, performing basic data analysis, applying best practices, and making sound decisions to support international shipments efficiently.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Manage customer communications, order entry, and order fulfillment through regular interaction with external and internal customers (Transportation, Warehousing, Supply Chain).

  • Coordinate and oversee export shipments to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the export process, including coordinating export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, export licenses, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.

  • Identify, communicate, and resolve customer issues related to shipments, including material availability, system errors, export compliance, and information discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with the Master Data Management team to maintain accurate customer master data by submitting requests for changes and resolving related issues.

  • Support internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of international orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and global trade regulations.

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of export processes and documentation involved in international shipments required.

  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred and strong MS Office skills required.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that reinforce the team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow up proactively.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exhibit the C&D Global Behaviors required within the Specialty Products Division, including being digitally savvy, maintaining a positive attitude, simplifying processes, helping others, aiming high, and getting the facts.

Education and Experience                                                          

  • HS diploma with 5+ years of demonstrated customer service experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with specific experience in exports and international shipments;

  • or BS degree from an accredited institution with some relevant work experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $49,600 to $70,600. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
