Associate Corporate Development Analyst

The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Corporate Development Analyst to join our team in Arlington, VA (preferred); Chicago, IL; Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA. The Corporate Development Analyst will support various aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) execution and relevant industry research, including strategic assessment, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and integration. Boeing is an active participant in the M&A market, having completed numerous transactions in recent years.

The Corporate Development Analyst will assist in financial modeling, analysis, and valuation of M&A opportunities, and support Boeing's Corporate Development activities. This role will involve assisting with due diligence investigations, assessing market and industry dynamics, and evaluating the capabilities and performance of target companies. The Analyst will also help prepare presentations for M&A decision-making and communications.

This position is expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating in a team environment. Effective coordination and support of business units and constructive engagement with colleagues across the enterprise are critical components of the job. As such, the position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a balanced approach to ensure that all perspectives are understood.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial modeling and valuation analyses for M&A activities

  • Support M&A execution, including coordination of due diligence and integration / separation planning

  • Maintain transaction history and presentation archives

  • Assist in compliance requirements and management of unsolicited opportunities

  • Provide analytic and presentation support to leadership across various strategic priorities

  • Assist with various Corporate Development overhead activities

  • Engage with various Boeing executive leadership

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related field

  • 1 or more years of experience in any of the following: Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Contracts/Negotiations, Financial Planning, Estimating and Pricing, Statistics, Operations Research, Mergers & Acquisitions, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

  • 1 or more years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment

  • Ability to support parts of an M&A project and a keen desire to learn and grow into a larger role

  • Experience performing financial analyses and presenting findings in PowerPoint format

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights for negotiation

  • Driven, proactive, self-starter with excellent communication skills

Summary Pay Range: $88,400 to $119,600
