Job Description: Instructional Designer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Instructional Designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in creating engaging and effective e-learning content. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or other similar authoring tools to design and develop interactive learning modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in instructional design and a passion for creating high-quality, learner-centric training programs. In this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create high-quality learning experiences that are optimized for delivery across multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement engaging and interactive e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline, Captivate or other similar authoring tools.
• Create micro-learning modules that are concise, engaging, and targeted to specific learning outcomes.
• Work with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and alignment with organizational learning goals.
• Design learning experiences that integrate multimedia elements such as video, audio, graphics, animation and simulations.
• Develop detailed storyboards, course outlines, and learning paths based on project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement learning assessments, quizzes, and interactive scenarios to measure learner progress.
• Optimize learning content for various platforms including Learning Management Systems (LMS), mobile devices, and virtual environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve learning materials and enhance user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in instructional design, e-learning tools, and technologies to continuously improve content delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning content creation.
• Expertise in using Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Vyond, or similar authoring tools.
• Proven ability to create engaging micro-learning and e-learning content.
• Familiarity with designing for mobile learning (responsive design).
• In-depth knowledge of SCORM, LMS platforms, and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and best practices (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Knowledge of gamification principles and experience in integrating them into learning solutions.
• Experience in developing content for different learner demographics and organizational needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with SMEs and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in instructional design or related areas (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
• Experience with gamification, microlearning, and other innovative learning techniques.
• Ability to create visually appealing and interactive content using graphic design tools.
