The opportunity:
There is a newly created opportunity for a Senior Reward Analyst to join our People and Culture team at AIA in either Melbourne or Sydney. This role supports the execution and analysis of the organisation’s reward, remuneration and benefits programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reward within this role you will be responsible for managing remuneration data, conducting in-depth analysis to support decision making and ensure the accurate execution of reward processes.
To do this successfully you will:
Conduct in-depth analysis of remuneration data to provide insights for remuneration decision making
Prepare and present reports for the remuneration reviews, gender pay analysis and incentive program outcomes
Ensure accurate remuneration data management across HRIS (Workday) at all times
Manage data preparation, testing and system readiness for the annual remuneration review
Conduct salary benchmarking through market analysis and survey submissions
Provide insights on pay positioning, trends and internal equity analysis
Manage the administration and reporting of short term and long-term incentive programs
Assist in the design and evaluation of the reward structure ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Group office counterparts to ensure the HRIS (Workday) is optimised for efficient reward cycle activities
Assist in the preparation of data and analysis for Board and Executive papers
Act as a custodian of AIA’s culture and our operating philosophy of ‘Doing the Right Thing, in the Right Way, with the Right People’.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Experience in remuneration or HR Analytics with a focus on data analysis and reporting
A strong understanding of job frameworks, market benchmarking and incentive structures
Experience in working with HRIS (Workday preferred) and remuneration systems to manage large datasets and system processes
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualisation)
Experience in Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools would be highly regarded
A strong understanding of remuneration policies, compliance and regulatory standards in the financial services landscape
Experience in preparing reports for executive level review
