Mercer is looking for candidates to join us as Junior Consultant / Consultant in the Reward & Executive Compensation Practice based in Milan or Rome.
What can you expect?
Our Reward Practice supports Clients in connecting their strategic business objectives and their implications for their Executive Compensation, Rewards and Incentive Systems. As a Reward Consultant, you will be asked to contribute to the execution of complex projects being responsible for specific tasks – in terms of quality and timing - under the supervision of a Project Manager or to lead smaller projects as Project Manager.
In addition, you’ll be asked to give value to the working team through your ability to interpret and draw meaningful conclusions starting from quantitative analysis, organization-specific issues and clients’ business performance mainframe. In short time you will be able to understand and connect clients’ strategic business objectives and their implications for Executive Compensation, Rewards and Incentive Systems within the national and international listed and privately-owned companies environment. You will be part of the Executive Compensation and Broad-based Rewards area and you will support the team in delivering projects bringing your fresh and innovative thinking and experience.
Your main activities and responsibilities will be:
Execute project delivery in line with strategic directions given by the managers of the team;
Perform analysis and develop client ready reports with minimum guidance and instructions;
Leverage and reinforce expertise in many of our practice areas (Executive Compensation, Broad-base Reward, Job Evaluation and organization-related issues, incentive plans, etc.);
Support Senior Colleagues in preparing outputs for our clients and presenting part of the outputs directly to clients;
Support Senior Colleague in the development of commercial proposals;
Support in developing the business and the intellectual capital of the Reward Practice.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Economics, Organization, Management and/or Engineering;
+3 years of experience in consulting or in HR functions of medium-large size companies with focus on Reward and Compensation;
Experience in Financial Services will be a plus;
Fluency in both Italian and English;
Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel and Outlook);
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
