About the Role

This role is to
(1) Provide actuarial support for new products/ initiatives launch;
(2) Support product enhancement related projects;
(3) Handle pricing-related customer service queries;
(4) Provide actuarial insight for strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives of the company, and;
(5) Coach junior team members.

Provide actuarial support for new products/ initiatives launch

  • Develop and propose product pricing templates based on market and sales proposition.

  • Develop product approval documents, user requirements and other related documents before new products go live.

  • Review and provide feedback for training materials, product submission documents to MEF, and marketing materials to ensure they are aligned with the product pricing model.

  • UAT testing on iPos to make sure the premium calculation, all related wording or sentences in the sales quotation are fully aligned with the product pricing model.

  • UAT testing on IL/COAST system to make sure they are all aligned with the product pricing model.

Support product enhancement related projects

  • Support the system testing and UAT for day2 items.

  • Support day2 features such as requests for changing payment mode, changing sum insured and premium after policy issue.

Other actuarial related support

  • Monthly tracking of new products after launch.

  • Calculate persistency for each sales channel for monthly reporting and compensation schemes calculation.

  • Handling pricing-related customer service queries.

  • Mentoring 2 junior actuaries for the BAU tasks and support required.
