Who you are:
As a Central Credit Supervisor, you are our leader, providing guidance and support to every single team member on your team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and approving or rejecting difficult and complex consumer loan applications with underwriting authority of $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 or commercial applications with underwriting authority of $1,000,000 to $3,000,000. What you’ll do:
Monitor day-to-day functions of CCA or BBC Underwriting Department
Monitor queues and/or assign loan submissions by banking teams
Analyze financial data, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial information to determine the credit worthiness and financial conditions of borrowers
Serve as a primary contact for underwriting review and concurrence
Act as a key underwriting decision-maker. Perform second reviews on all declinations
Provide feedback to Central Credit Manager to assist with annual reviews; prepare annual employee reviews
Ensure appropriate credit documentation and loss mitigation by working closely with sales staff and documentation preparation area
Provide consistent underwriting and documentation of files to comply with internal and external polices and regulations
Work with other line-of-business partners to support workflow and customer experience.
Assist with career development/education of sales staff
Create/develop training processes and requirements, including global cash flow
Coach staff members to ensure they have a clear understanding of credit underwriting and servicing requirements

What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Lending, preferably within underwriting
Demonstrated ability to understand and train on complex financial analysis
Understand laws and regulations pertaining to loans under $5,000,000
Proven record of success in an underwriting environment
Ability to lead a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
