What you'll do:

• Lead medium to high-complexity projects on the team

• Develop, debug, and modify components of software applications and tools

• Drive Operational Excellence for highly scalable production systems

• You will write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines

• Support and fix data and system issues as needed

• You will resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur with help from peers or managers. Follow through on details and drive issues to closure

• You define, develop and maintain artifacts like the technical design or stakeholder documentation

• You understand complex systems design and actively lead/participate in design & code reviews

• Participate in user story creation in partnership with the team(s)

Who you are:

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related major or equivalent work experience

• Motivated, self-driven and demonstrated commitment to technical excellence and bias to action

• Strong communication and interpersonal  skills

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience with Agile development methodology, continuous delivery, and related engineering practices

• Experience with building, testing, deploying & monitoring services using Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Experience with AWS products like EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, Cloudformation

• Experience with server-side programming languages & frameworks(HTTP REST, gRPC, Spring MVC/Boot, Kotllin, Java, Apache Kafka and Flink)

• Experience with SQL(PostgreSql, AWS Aurora) or NoSQL(Cassandra, Redis) databases

• Experience with Monitoring and debugging tools like datadog and splunk

• Experience with GIT (version control)

• Experience with Machine learning and and analytics is a plus.
