This role is responsible for developing, planning, communicating, executing, and sustaining the day-to-day operations and activities consistent with the Global Value & Risk Advisory vision and strategy. 

Reporting to the Global COO of VRA, this role directs the process of developing new and innovative strategies aimed at optimizing market growth, service line excellence, operational efficiencies, and financial performance across the EURASIA business. At all times this role will keep at its core the four key JLL pillars of Client, People, Brand, Platform and is critical in ensuring the effective transformation of the business within market norms and consistency of approach within the pillars as appropriate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provides advice and counsel on operational and strategic matters to the Global COO, CEO and EURASIA Value & Risk Advisory Leaders.
  • Focuses on the Value & Risk Advisory markets strategy to drive decision-making that creates medium- and long-term improvement.
  • Work with the global leadership team to establish / develop and regularly review key strategic priorities.
  • Responsible for translating strategic priorities into a comprehensive strategic plan for EURASIA and implementing / executing through global and regional business partners.
  • Partner with Value & Risk Advisory leadership in setting the overall tone and direction for the businesses.
  • Partner with Value & Risk Advisory leadership to build and implement the EURASIA Value & Risk Advisory Target Operating Model.
  • Coordinate transformation and BAU strategies with the Global COO and other corporate functions and business lines within country as appropriate.
  • Partner with EURASIA Value & Risk Advisory Leadership, Sector and Client leaders and the Business Development team to deliver client strategies and growth plans.
  • Present new ideas for increasing margin and ensuring good working capital management, driving consistency in processes and tools between countries where possible.
  • Partner with VRA leadership on identifying M&A opportunities. Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions) including evaluation of potential acquisitions in coordination with relevant business stakeholders.
  • Helps drive changes in the business including championing the One JLL mindset including:
    • Partner with HR & Global COO to develop and drive the overall people strategy for EURASIA Value & Risk Advisory ensuring are people are well-led and well-managed.
    • Partner with JLLT & Innovation to drive a best-in-class data and technology strategy for Value & Risk Advisory. Ensure operational and business processes support platform based innovative usage of data and technology to drive the business forward and be ahead of digital, data & AI disruption.
    • Partner closely and maintain excellent relations with Business Line peers, notably EURASIA CM and EURASIA Leasing COO and broader business communities including Finance, VAST, JBS, Transformation leads, Marketing, HR, JLLT.
  • Oversee daily operations of the EURASIA Value & Risk Advisory businesses and make adjustments as necessary. Partners with markets in driving the business to achieve and surpass revenue and profitability targets, business goals and objectives.
  • Run monthly operational calls, including overseeing transformation structure and impact.
  • Partner with the Finance to improve profitability, grow revenue and create reporting that meets the business needs. Work to improve business analytics – not just reporting figures but identifying trends, operational changes, risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Product, VAST, JLLT stakeholders to ensure momentum and effective implementation of transformation strategies.
  • Measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes
  • Lead corporate restructures as required and strive for alignment across regions
  • Lead M&A activity as required.

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Global outlook and mindset a must, experience in property, professional services and technology an advantage.
  • Experience in navigating a complex matrixed organization
  • Comfortable with driving change and holding others accountable
  • Proven project management experience monitoring project and transformation progress
  • Ability to effectively engage multiple stakeholders and articulate vision
  • Decisive, adaptable and forward-looking
  • Prior experience leveraging data through technology to deliver value
