What you’ll do

  • Process time data, calculates payroll, withholdings, and accruals, compiles payroll statistics, and maintains payroll control records.
  • Reconcile payroll deposits, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and employee deductions.
  • Analyze and audits payrolls for accuracy.
  • Maintain and applies knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll legislation in all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Interact with bank and payroll vendors and oversees transmission and reconciliation of data files.
  • Prepare and send payment requests to Accounts Payable and Treasury departments for payroll funding and all required vendor payments.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits and Compensation, Information Technology, Tax, and Accounting to respond to and resolve issues.

What sets you apart

  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing preferred.  Similar or related experience will be considered.
  • Proficient technical skills including Microsoft Office suite of products and HRIS systems, preferably Workday
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations and taxation
  • Adaptive to changing demands and needs
  • Demonstrated highest level of confidentiality
