Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with different stakeholders to gather information, implement solutions, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the systems in place, ensuring that any disruptions are addressed promptly and effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Able to solution, design and architect automation approach for a client, recommending the best fit tools for an optimized solution - Client handling capability with leading communication & story telling skills - Perform client’s automation maturity assessment - Well versed with agile delivery principles, sprint model and scrum boards on JIRA on any other similar tool - Knowledge of IaC tools like version control systems (Git, SVN etc..), Ansible, Terraform, CICD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Rundeck - Cloud certified professional – AWS/Azure/GCP/VMWare private cloud - IaC security tools & vaulting - Coding Skills like Python / Shell Scripting / Ansible / Java Script Good to have. Professional & Technical Skills: - Knowledge on Infrastructure architecture across networks, storage, compute, hosting - REST API integrations & JSON - Python / Prompt Engineering Skills - Knowledge of cloud technologies. - AI OPS tools understanding - DevOps certified cloud professional - Conceptual or working knowledge on SLO, SLI, toils, error budget and Chaos engineering Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Infrastructure As Code (IaC). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
