Position Title: Creative Manager, Theatrical Marketing (7 months FTC)

Region: APAC                                               

Location: Beijing, China                                           

Department: Theatrical Marketing, China

Reports to: VP, Head of Theatrical Marketing China

Time period: January 2024 to July 2025

General Summary:

As an integral part of the Theatrical Marketing team, the Creative Manager role will serve as the key day to day contact with internal and external stakeholders, working hand in hand with counterparts in HO as well as local partners, to provide creative assets and solutions to the film marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative strategy (including executing China exclusive assets) throughout the film campaigns to raise awareness and achieve marketing goals.
  • Create the assets and finish the localization procedure for all creative needs with the strong understanding of local market.
  • Cooperate with various departments from HO and the vendors from HO to achieve the design and construction of creative ideas, to proceed communication and confirmation, and finally to complete the localization of creative materials.
  • Leverage creative media to support internal campaigns.
  • Support the needs of marketing and distribution teams in the development, use and planning of creative materials.
  • Work closely with local vendors/artists to complete any work related to the development and localization of creative materials.
  • Supervise local partners’ creative assets.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5-year experience in marketing, creative and content development related functions.
  • Prior experience in film or TV marketing required
  • Prior experience at a multinational corporation preferred.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication or marketing preferred.

  • Intelligence, business acumen, working acknowledge and ability to think strategically and “outside the box” to analyse, develop and implement different marketing strategies/solutions with creative insights.
  • Knowledge of local film industry dynamics.
  • Effective and tactful communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
