The above internship exists at Trouw Nutrition South Africa in the Technical Department and reports to the Technical Director. The purpose of the internship is to provide a suitable candidate with exposure into the animal feed industry giving them opportunity to develop key skills required to contribute to the growing agricultural industry. Duration is 12 months, commencing 1 August 2025.

Job Description:

Areas that will be addressed include:

• Nutrition (premix formulation, feed formulation, product knowledge)
• Customer relations and sales support
• On farm support
• Quality aspects (analysis interpretation for raw materials and feed)
• Operations (production, logistics, planning etc)

The ideal candidate should have successfully completed a Degree in Animal Science or relevant qualification and be interested to learn various aspects in the animal feed industry.
