Our Diagnostic Imaging department is excited to offer a 12-month training position in small animal diagnostic imaging in our busy, purpose-built hospital that is fully equipped with the surgical equipment and diagnostic facilities commensurate with a flagship specialist veterinary hospital, with emphasis on image acquisition in radiology, CT, and MRI.
Our Diagnostic Imaging team consists of 5 board-certified Radiologists, 3 Fellows, 3 Residents, 2 Interns and 5 Radiographers/Assistants. The on-site imaging facilities include radiography (DR), fluoroscopy, 2 ultrasound suites, high field MRI, and 16-slice MDCT. DWR has an excellent and varied caseload supported by Rotating Interns, Residents, certified Veterinary Nurses, and 49 Veterinary Specialists including the following specialties: anatomical pathology, anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical pathology, dentistry, emergency and critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery.
Qualifications
The successful applicant must have a veterinary degree, be licensed to practice in the UK, and have done a one-year Rotating Internship or have at least two years’ experience in veterinary practice. The applicant must have a strong motivation to progress in the field of diagnostic imaging, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a strong technical aptitude.

Salary Value: £37,000 per annum
