The Manager, FP&A – Tournament Operations is responsible for the supervision, planning, reporting, and strategic analysis surrounding the PGA TOUR’s products, namely it’s global tournament schedule, and its related sponsorship products, with emphasis on its owned and operated events, as well as the tournament economics across the full PGA TOUR schedule (including supporting Tours).
QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA or MBA preferred
- A minimum of five years experience in Accounting/Financial Field
- Financial consolidation and presentation preparation experience is a plus
- Extensive experience with Workday and Report Writing software desired. Adaptive and/or Office Connect strongly preferred
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and large sets of financial and non-financial data
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Liaison between Championship Management, PGA TOUR Tournament Business, Business Development & Corporate Partnerships, and other key internal stakeholders to understand financial projections and underlying business performance
- Facilitate the preparation of Championship Management tournament budgets, monthly forecasts and long-range plans, and underlying reporting workbooks with the assistance of tournament directors and staff, and other internal parties, as necessary
- Coordinate with Championship Management Tournament Directors & staff to evaluate contract renewals, payment terms, business opportunities, planning process enhancements, and any other ad-hoc financial needs
- Assist the preparation and administration of monthly forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans for other PGA TOUR events, tours, and sponsorship products, as necessary
- Prepare global product operating reviews and other financial presentations in multiple formats for internal business operators, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders, as necessary
- Evaluate prospective business opportunities for short and long-term financial return and economic benefit, and produce evaluations for internal stakeholders, as necessary
- Liaison with PGA TOUR FP&A and Corporate Accounting to provide analysis surrounding actual and projected business performance and variances, as well as Financial System Solutions to enhance reporting, planning, and financial data infrastructure, as necessary
- Maintain current financial reports and support ad hoc requests when necessary
