Responsibilities:

Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing new business opportunities. Responsible for developing and executing the overall business capture strategy for an approved pursuit of new or recompete opportunities including the Capture Planning, Execution and Orchestration of the Capture Team. Duties include all attributes of a Capture Plan: Shaping, Strategy (Technical, Management, Facilities, Price, Innovation, etc.), Competition Assessment, Call Plan, Communications Plan, etc. This requires the coordination with the entire Capture Team: Business Group, Business Development, Client Executives, Proposal Operations, Solution Team and enabling Organizations. Corporate level presentation of the pursuit direction and status at Milestone, SCR and MCR meetings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Recognized master in professional discipline
  • Significantly improves on existing processes and practices for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Requires communication with executive leadership
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors.
  • Works to influence others to accept job function’s view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.
  • May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function.
  • Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management.
  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of related work experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
