Our Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Asset Strategy Manager to lead the strategic management of asset performance and transition planning across our UK Services portfolio, with a primary focus on the Connect Services programme. This is a senior leadership role that requires proven experience operating at a strategic level within asset management, ideally in transport, infrastructure, or complex service environments.

The role acts as a key internal interface, fostering strong relationships across teams to ensure asset management priorities are understood, supported, and embedded throughout the organisation.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our services, ensuring strategic alignment with client expectations while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

As Asset Strategy Manager, you will:

  • Shape and deliver asset management strategies and lifecycle planning across multiple contracts
  • Drive data integrity and compliance, ensuring alignment with ISO 55000 series principles and client-specific standards
  • Lead transition readiness, including exit planning and mobilisation activities, enabling seamless service continuity
  • Act as a key internal and external interface, influencing decisions and fostering collaboration across teams and client forums

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven leadership in asset management and contract transition
  • Deep understanding of lifecycle optimisation, obsolescence planning, and maintenance strategies
  • Experience managing complex contractual deliverables and stakeholder relationships at a senior level
  • Strong understanding of ISO 55000 series and asset management systems
  • Excellent  stakeholder  engagement  and communication skills
