Course Description:

This course covers all of the stages involved in developing medical devices; from concept to medical approval including system engineering, medical device design, signal processing, electronics, and ICT with Cloud and e-Health development. Medical Devices Design would provide a broad theoretical background with extensive engineering design process and give details on how the theory is translated into industrial medical products. The focus first is on the theory to explain main concepts and principles which remain valid across technological evolutions of medical devices. Then the Implementation would show how the theory is translated into a medical product.

PhD in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline with specialization. Must have a strong background and demonstrable expertise in the subject matter.
