Description

  • Procure aircraft spares and commercial materials from approved vendors.
  • Obtain quotes from multiple vendors and secure approval for selected quotations.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders.
  • Maintain bonded and quarantine stores in full compliance with DGCA regulatory requirements.
  • Accept incoming aircraft spares with correct and complete documentation.
  • Manage the return of unserviceable spares.
  • Issue spares for aircraft usage with proper documentation.
  • Monitor calibration schedules of tools and ensure timely calibration.
  • Keep accurate records of unserviceable and scrapped items.
  • Maintain minimum stock levels of regularly used spares.
  • Raise requisitions for spares, consumables, fuel, and other materials required for uninterrupted aircraft operations.
  • Liaise with logistics teams to track consignments from origin to destination and provide necessary documents for customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with the Finance department regarding vendor payments and provide inventory updates.
  • Update the CAMO department on usage of spares for logbook entries.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of experience in store management, inventory control, or procurement—preferably in aviation or a regulatory-controlled environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures for aircraft spares and commercial materials.
  • Familiarity with DGCA regulations related to bonded and quarantine store management.
  • Ability to manage documentation related to spare issuance, receipt, and returns.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional departments such as logistics, finance, and CAMO.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an aviation MRO, flight training organization, or airline inventory department.
  • Knowledge of tool calibration processes and certification requirements.
  • Experience using inventory management software or ERP systems.
