A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for driving Neurosurgery product sales growth within the Seoul territory through both existing account development and new customer acquisition.

The position focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key stakeholders, executing effective sales strategies, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Finance, the individual will identify and pursue business opportunities, manage complex sales cycles, and contribute to increasing market penetration within the territory.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. They should also demonstrate the potential to independently manage and grow customer accounts while delivering sustainable business results in a dynamic and competitive environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.

  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of demonstrated sales experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry 

    • For Sales Rep I level: 0 to 3 year’s relevant experience 

    • For Sales Rep II level: minimum 3 years' relevant experience  

  • Open for fresh grads who are willing to learn and develop career in Neurosurgery sales  

  • Excellent commercial business acumen, active and outgoing personality, flexible and team-oriented   

  • Basic communication skills in English and Korea languages 

  • Computer and MS Office proficient  

  • Active driver’s license 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience including previous experience in surgical assistance is highly regarded (Healthcare including Medical Devices

  • Experience/exposure in relevant products(Neurosurgery) is preferred 

  • Direct experience interacting and dealing with key opinion leaders and other leading roles in the scientific and clinical community is a great plus
