Under general supervision, serves as the first line of contact for internal client service managers, internal and external relationship managers regarding plan-initiated fund and fee change requests. Handles moderately complex inquiries and problem resolution

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides prompt, accurate and professional responses to email requests and service requests including, but not limited to, requests for plan level fund, fee change, and manual mailing requests.

• Facilitate the fund and fee change scheduling with numerous internal teams and departments.

• Delegates inquiries to the appropriate unit for timely resolution.

• Compose routine written correspondence and conduct research into problems and inquiries.

• Handle most issues independently while maintaining the department’s minimum quality, productivity, and time standards.

• Prepares simple written correspondence and conducts preliminary research into problems and inquiries

• Strong attention to detail is required

• Ability to multitask and utilize dual monitors to work in multiple operating systems or vendor sites simultaneously

• Adheres to the service standard deadlines

• Ability to handle fast paced order processing environment, repetitive duties and ability to embrace change positively

Background and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must

  • 1-3 years of financial services, any experience in Plan or Fund Setup preferred

  • Requires superior communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong attention to detail skills required

  • Prior experience and understanding of various IRS codes; 401(k), 401(a), 403(b), 457, etc. preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to; computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to concentrate, talk and hear. This role is regularly required to type, reach with hands and arms, sit for long periods of time, read, write, listen, verbally communicate, present information, respond to questions, problem solve, concentrate and tolerate stress. Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
