Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Attends in-person or online program classes as required. Completes all work and/or school assignments and adheres to the Associate-to-Technician program outline and curriculum.

Performs inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical or electronic equipment (for example, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, electronic and electrical equipment) while following company guidelines and under supervision of a qualified technician or instructor.

Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment, as well as small and large hand and power tools.

Cleans and maintains grounds, parking lots, fencing, and building facilities (for example, bathrooms, plumbing).

Works alongside qualified technicians to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious. Utilizes technical drawings (for example, blueprints, procedures, schematics, sketches) and diagnostic tools (for example, multi-meters, laptops).

Creates and completes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.

Uses computer-based tools and programs (for example, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to complete assignments, reporting, communications, and other materials as required.

Follow all company and government regulated safety rules, regulations, programs, and standards.

Enters automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) to reset or physically move bots to a charging plate as needed and as required. Utilizes mechanic/automotive creepers while wearing proper personal protective equipment.

Grocery Automation Facilities Only: Ability to access spaces smaller than 36" and at heights of 80-100 feet with or without an established platform AND within the weight requirements specified by the equipment manufacturer.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00-$38.90*

‎ 

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
