Accounts Payable Accountant (1-year fixed term contract)

Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices from suppliers across the EMEA region. Since the volume of invoices processed in Oracle is high and deadlines are tight, the ability to work under pressure is essential. In this role, you will cooperate closely with suppliers and internal departments.

On a daily basis, you will work together with 8 colleagues and report directly to the Accounts Payable Team Leader.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Register supplier invoices
• Investigate invoice disputes daily
• Prepare and run reports in Excel (daily, weekly, monthly) and resolve open queries
• Reconcile supplier statements and manage disputes
• Archive and file documents in line with country legislation
• Assist with other accounting tasks as required

WHO YOU ARE:

• Learn fast and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
• Focus on detail and accuracy
• Communicate fluently in English (C1)
• Fluency in any other language will be a plus
• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Understand accounting principles and be numerate
• Experience from a similar role will be an advantage
