Job Description:

Provides leadership and direction in the form of coaching, training, and facilitation of unit and department level strategies for Patient Safety, Clinical Quality, and Patient Experience. Uses data, including patient/family feedback to inform decision-making and ensures patients receive safe and high-quality care. Serves as an expert in safety concepts and tools as well as improvement science and facilitation methods.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Experience

  • Required: 2 years’ experience as an RN

Skills

  • Safety, quality, and patient experience data analysis
  • Event investigation and causal analysis
  • Patient safety and infection prevention expertise
  • Coaching and collaboration with clinical and leadership teams
  • Regulatory compliance and quality improvement

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri 
  • Preferred: IHI Basic Certification in Quality & Safety; CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety)
