As a Sr. Associate, Channel/Partner Promotion – DEOH based in Jeddah, you will support hospitals, clinics, and selected pharmacies, working closely with ophthalmologists and surgeons across Jeddah and surrounding regions to promote the Systane Family (eye drops for dry eye relief and hydration) and drive customer engagement. This is a fully field-based role.

A typical day in this role will include:

  • Support key accounts and hospital networks, including referral systems and market access. Ensure high customer satisfaction and manage inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Support pharmacy-level activities including product education, merchandising, and relationship building to ensure optimal visibility and sell-through.
  • Develop and execute business plans including customer events, marketing campaigns, and sales presentations to achieve objectives. Provide input into promotional fund usage and territory sales forecasting.
  • Maintain deep understanding of priority products and therapeutic areas. Stay updated on product strategy, positioning, key messages, company developments, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed objectives, productivity, and performance targets within set budgets and timelines. Responsible for sales planning, target setting, reporting, and team/account knowledge.
  • Achieve contact, coverage, and frequency targets using various communication channels. Contribute to team success through collaboration and cooperative relationships.
  • Follow adverse event and Code of Conduct guidelines as per Alcon standards. Ensure timely and accurate reporting, and demonstrate behavior aligned with company values.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or another relevant medical, pharmaceutical, or life science field
  • Residency in Jeddah or willingness to be based there
  • Native-level proficiency in Arabic and fluent English communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical sales, ideally within ophthalmology or a closely related therapeutic area
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory as part of a field-based role
  • A positive, proactive, and self-driven mindset with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Strong understanding of clinical ophthalmology, particularly vision care and dry eye management or prior experience in this field is a significant advantage
