IT Technical Project Management - VP

The position Technical Project Management will be a Delivery and Project Management role responsible for ensuring the applications follow the strategic goals, have the right interface and experience characteristics required for a world class solution.  To be successful in this role, the candidate should have sufficient experience in building cutting edge web application servicing a large global userbase. The successful candidate will champion the users’ needs from an experience perspective as well as ensuring the right designs are in place.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality.
  • Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
  • Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
  • Has shared responsibility for policy formulation and planning.
  • Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
  • Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.
  • Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through responsibility for delivery of end results and shared responsibility for budget management, accountable for resource planning.
  • Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years’ experience role with Technical Project Management
  • 5+ years’ experience in all facets of the web application development life cycle, from requirement analysis, architecture, design, code, UAT and post-implementation revisions.
  • Worked on Tools like Java, JSP, Servlets, spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Java Script, Angular
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to self-manage.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of web development phases and process
  • Finance Services Experience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially master’s degree in computer science or related field.
