Role Overview
Lead the design, consistency, and user experience of all Tableau dashboards across the Controls Insights and Analytics Landscape.
Manage a small team of Tableau developers/UX designers and create a unified visual standard that makes complex risk and control information clear, intuitive and decision ready.
What you'll do
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team focussed on Tableau dashboard design and build
Set quality standards, run design reviews, and build a shared visual language
UX standards and frameworks
Create and maintain an enterprise and Markets consistent UX framework for dashboards: layouts, navigation, filters, colour use, typography and accessibility
Own and maintain the Tableau design system and reusable components
Dashboard Design and Delivery
Convert complex Risk & Control content into clear, actionable dashboards
Produce wireframes and prototypes
Ensure dashboards highlight outliers, trends, thresholds and insights – not just data
Stakeholder Engagement
Work with stakeholders to understand needs and define dashboard requirements
Work with other Controls Insights and Analytic leads to run showcases, user testing, training and feedback loops to drive adoption
Quality & Governance
Own dashboard QA – consistency, accuracy, formatting and accessibility
Maintain dashboard catalogue, versioning, and UX standards documentation
Ensure designs align with Enterprise definitions
What we'll need from you
Expert in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server / Cloud
Strong dashboard UX and data-storytelling capability
Understanding of non-financial risk datasets, metrics and regulatory expectations
Proficiency with design / wireframing tools desirable
Strong coaching and feedback skills Ability to simplify complexity and design for clarity Excellent communication and ability to translate risk and control concepts into intuitive visual form Collaborative, user-focussed, and quality driven
