Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer (12381) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in database design, development, and management, particularly with SQL Server. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining complex database systems to support our data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases (2016 and 2019) to support application development and business needs.
• Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes to ensure efficient data migration and transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions that meet organizational objectives.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database design, development, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
• 5+ years of experience in database development and management.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server 2016 and 2019.
• Proficiency in SSIS for ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio 2019 for database project development.
• Experience with AWS services (a plus).
• Fluent English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation (a plus).

• Competencies: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
