The purpose of a RESTAURANT Server Assistant is to ensure that restaurant remains clean by quickly and efficiently bussing and wiping tables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Wipe tables or seats with dampened, sanitized cloths and replace dirty tablecloths.
  • Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies.
  • Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
  • Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
  • Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
  • Serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons.
  • Fill beverage or ice dispensers.
  • Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
  • Locate items requested by customers.
  • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
  • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
  • Clean and Polish bar glassware
  • Stock and clean bar coolers
  • Clean floors and drains in back of house and front of house
  • Deliver room service orders and in house guest amenities
  • Run food as need for Narrative and Kisbee
  • Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to follow instructions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment normally entails the following:

  • Indoor work environment
  • Minimal to moderate noise levels consistent with hotel environment

During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
