Summary

The Senior Project Manager, AI & Automation Solutions is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on driving critical project lifecycles from ideation to delivery. This role is designed for an execution-focused project manager who architects, deploys, and scales enterprise generative AI solutions and intelligent automation frameworks to accelerate project delivery, optimize solution outputs, and maximize team efficiency.

Rather than just tracking timelines, you will actively build and integrate large language model (LLM) integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks, and custom agentic workflows within our project delivery framework to eliminate process waste and elevate project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Execution: Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring clear requirements, realistic milestones, and predictable, high-quality solution outputs.

• Innovation: Evaluate, pilot, and integrate emerging LLMs, APIs, and AI vendor capabilities to continually advance internal capabilities

• AI-Driven Solution Output: Actively identify opportunities within project lifecycles to apply AI and automation. Hands-on build, configure, and optimize workflows using modern tools (e.g., Monday.com, integrations, and emerging AI technologies) to accelerate project execution and reduce manual waste.

• Continuous Improvement & Backlog Governance: Contribute to the visible project backlog and process-improvement pipeline. Transparently communicate project priorities, resource trade-offs, and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

• Change Management & Collaboration: Partner closely with BizTech to implement, test, and roll out new automated solutions. Establish lightweight but disciplined intake and change management processes to ensure high user adoption of new workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Program Management, Systems Automation, or Technical Business Analyst roles.

• Proven track record of designing, prompt engineering, and implementing production-grade AI solutions, LLM integrations, and complex data pipeline automations.

• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to take fragmented, manual processes and redesign them into clean, automated, end-to-end workflows.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable partnering with BizTech for system integrations and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative/technical field.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000 - $250,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
