NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Junior Software Development Engineer in our Daytona, Florida office.

This person is responsible for software application development.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications
  • Design, code and debug applications in Visual Studio using C# .NET (WPF/ASP.NET)
  • Design front end user interfaces
  • Maintain and document software functionality
  • Implement localization or globalization of software
  • Support and/or installation of software applications/operating systems
  • Responsible for the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
  • Travel: 5% including weekends
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school and one to three years (1 -3) related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Advanced skills on all company provided hardware, software and networks, and computer programming languages. Must have good understanding of programming concepts.
  • MCSD preferred.
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
